Hairy is a robotic character which can draw traffic and attention to your trade show and business.




Hairy is fully articulating in the following ways...

  • Hairy rides a bicycle
  • Hairy uses his arms to move the handlebars left and right to steer the bicycle.
  • Hairy uses his feet to pedal the bicycle forward and backward.
  • Hairy can move his head left and right to look at the people with whom he is having a conversation.
  • Hairy can speak using a speaker in his chest and his mouth moves in syncronization with the words he speaks using "Voice Activated Mouth Movement Circuitry". Hairy can also hear using a wireless microphone so that the operator of Hairy can remain hidden and still hold an intelligent conversation with your potential customer.
  • Hairy's head is mounted on a hidden spring attachment which gives his head the movement of back and forth as he accerates forward or backward as he pedals the bicycle.
  • Hairy is a real ladies man, and offers the women a kiss. This always gets their attention of course he then clearifies the offer is for a Herseys Kiss Candy which he always carrys in the basket which is mounted on his handlebars.


Hairy's bio

Hairy was born October 14th, 1988 and he has been a side kick to "Big Daddy" for some time now. Really I have fun working with Hairy and I first started using Hairy to promote my own businesses at trade shows in 1989. He gets a ton of attention and he can get people to take a look at your product or service.

Hairy is a cute robotic people magnet!

Hairy the Robot generates and entertains crowds with his wonderful wit and out going personality wherever he appears! Radio controlled with a two-way audio system, Hairy actually listens and responds to captivated audiences. This enables him to promote any product, service or event. Hairy's animated head, arms and legs all add to the magic, as he has fun with amazed customers, prospects, or other guests. Performances are customized with costumes or a client's golf or T-shirt. Hairy's humor generates sales, fun and excitement for up to 8 hours a day.

When Hairy greets show attendees, they stop in amazement, and the magic begins! While breaking the ice with humor and a few innocent questions, Hairy pre-qualifies prospects by quickly getting more information from the entranced guest than they would normally give to a person. Completing this red-carpet treatment, Hairy then introduces his new friend (and now qualified sales lead) to the appropriate sales person by name, with all the pertinent data for them to close the deal. Hairy can then excuse himself and pedal his bicycle away to start the process all over again!

The average conversation with each guest - from stopping them from walking by your booth to passing them on to your sales staff - lasts less than 4 minutes. However, the crowd that invariably gathers to watch the excitement at your booth also "get the message" as Hairy promotes your company, performs product demonstrations, and poses for the media cameras.

Hairy also does his homework before your show by learning the basics of your products or services, your markets and your targeted attendees. Our professional and highly visible presentation of your company has a positive and long-lasting impact on your clients and your industry!
