The home has dual HVAC systems.
This allows the Mother and Daughter sides to have individual heating and air conditioning settings.

Above is one of the three outside air conditioning units.

Above are two of the three outside HVAC units.
The smaller one on the right is AC only for the computer/communications room.
Below is a view of the totally automated emergency generator
system. This generator is powerful enough to run everything in the home at the
same time. This includes all of the heating and air-conditioning systems. It
produces 405 amps and will run for approximately 5 days on a 300 gallon single
tank of diesel fuel. Tornados, severe thunderstorms, ice and storm storms are a
reality which must be dealt with in the

The automatic switching systems control the generator in two different ways. First in the event of a public utility power outage the primary controller will signal the generator to start automatically. Secondly approximately five times per month on a set schedule the generator will start in the middle of the day and switch over and run the house for a short programmable period of time, usually 30 minutes. Below are pictures of the switching / control systems.

The concrete parking area has a place designed to park up to a 45 long motorhome, trail trailer, or boat. The area is big enough to park a 45 motor home or even a tractor trailer rig would fit.

A view of the area in front of and beyond the entrance to the five car garage
while we are packing to move out. Parked beyond the front of the garage area
but not blocking any access to the five car garage is a 45 ft long motorhome,
a 30 ft long industrial dumpster, a packing POD for pods.com. Parked in front of the
garage doors is a Toyota Minivan, an Escalade and a two door sports car.
Parking for a big family, friends or entertaining is never a problem.

This is a view of the area in front of the five car attached garage.
You can park three limos in the garages on the right side of the house
and two normal cars, SUV or mini vans in the two garages on the left side.
Of course all of the garage doors have automatic garage door openers.

While preparing to move we had rented 30 yard commercial dumpsters. These pictures show a truck
removing a full dumpster and replacing it with another, plus a 45 motor coach all parked with plenty of
room left over for more. These pictures give you perspective on the size of the parking available.

the bottom of the privacy fence is a 50 amp power connection for a boat or RV while parked.

This house uses no mulch in the landscaping. Why mulch every year? This is called Bearcat Rock and is a multi-colored red, black and gray rock which will never decay, never smelling like rotting wood and basically always looks great. Black gold mulch is attractive but it smells and after a month its appearance begins to degrade. Mulch is rotting wood and bark. Never dread the spring mulching ever again. This home was designed to be a low maintenance home.

This is a view from the front porch of the house.
Notice the matching brick columns lining the driveway have concrete flower pots which
are shown in the picture upside down to keep water from pooling when the flowers have been removed.
