I am a professional level tournament player. I have made final tables for 10K buy-in WSOP events shown on ESPN, and in 2005 I placed 14th in the WSOP Tournament of Champions event shown on ESPN. Johnny Chan finished 13th, Doyle Brunson finished 10th and I was eliminated by Phil Hellmuth when I was in 8th chip position. Groups of 3 to 10 people ... or individually you can get poker lessons in person from Mark "Big Daddy from Cincinnati" Hanna.

Mark has won multi-table satellites into 10K events both live satellites and on- line. Mark has won numerous tournaments, and has made ESPN TV final tables, Mark claims his proudest tournament accomplishment was his 14th place finish in the 2005 WSOP Tournament of Champions. Mark played great even though he had Mike Matusow on his immediate left shoulder, and Steve Danneman next to Mike for 14 hours the 1st day of the tournament and was still able to be 8th in chips at the end of the day. On the second day of the three day event, Mark while still 8th in chips with 14 players remaining in the tournament, lost to Phil Hellmuth when Mark's black pocket nines, ran into Phil Hellmuth's red pocket tens with all the money going in pre-flop. Johnny Chan finished in 13th position just seconds later and Doyle Brunson finished in 10th position a few minutes later.

Mark is currently in Cincinnati, Ohio for a few months while he packs up his house to move to Las Vegas, Nevada. You can learn nuances about tournament poker that you will not learn in the books or by watching a 1 hour ESPN broadcast. The final table on ESPN that Mark was featured on lasted 14 1/2 hours to play but ESPN made it into a 1 hour show. How can you learn from that?

Learn what only playing in tournaments for hours side by side with player's like Doyle Brunson, Johnny Chan, Chris Ferguson, Erik Lindgrin, Michael Mizrachi, Liz Lieu, Steve Danneman, Mike "The Mouth" Matusow, Clonie Gowen, Cyndy Violette, J.C. Tran, Nam Le, Phil Hellmuth, Allen Cunningham, Erick Lindgren, Ted Forest, David Williams, Glyn Banks, Greg Cash, Chris Moneymaker, Kenna James, David Pham, Phil Ivey, David Plastik, Tom Franklin, John Phan, Scotty Nguyen, Men Nguyen, Barry Greenstein, Max Pescatori, Bill Edler, Thor Hansen, Victor Ramdin, Marcel Luske, Greg Raymer, Chris Bigler, Ron Rose and more.

I left out Daniel Negreanu and a few other big names because although Mark has played in dozens of tournaments with them, he has never actually got to sit at their table and play with them. With field sizes of 700 players at up in most of the $10,000 entry fee events he has entered, it is hard to play with everyone.

These lessons can benefit the experienced player as well as the newbie.

Every trick you learn can put you one step closer to a big tournament payday.

This might be an excellent gift for your poker playing spouse.

Individual Lessons - $135 per hour ... three hour minimum sessions .... groups of 3 to 10 people also available ... for $250 per hour.
